LEADERSHIP
David Brooks Senior Pastor
Pastor David Brooks and his wife Teresa have been at Belair for 20 years. They met at a manufacturing plant while they were both employed there. After marriage, he attended and graduated from Victory Baptist College in North Augusta, SC. Teresa is employed by the Columbia County school system and volunteers at the church in many areas including youth, kids and the praise team. Their love for God’s Word and God’s people has never wavered. He preaches with power each and every week and his messages are timely and applicable to where you live.
Rick Wilson Worship and Administrative Pastor
Rick is a graduate of Pensacola Christian College in Pensacola, FL. He has a degree in Practical Theology. While relatively new to Belair, he loves the church and what God is doing here. He coordinates the music ministry with a vibrant, blended worship service as well as serving as the church administrator. He is married to Janel and together they have four married children and one granddaughter.
Janel Wilson Children’s Ministry Coordinator
Janel is a graduate of Pensacola Christian College in Pensacola, FL with a Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education. She has also taken Master’s classes from Bob Jones University in Greenville, SC. She is currently a Pre-K Teacher at Augusta Christian school and also serves on staff at Child Evangelism Fellowship. Her love for the little ones is a gift from God and she uses it each and every week as she coordinates our children’s ministry to create a safe, clean environment for children to learn more about God and His love for them.
Megan Synenberg Nursery Coordinator
Megan is a recent graduate who is all in at Belair. She has a beautiful voice and sings solos as well as with our praise team and ladies ensemble. She serves as our nursery coordinator for
newborn age children through age 4. Her love for children and her love for Christ are evident from the time a child checks in until the time they are safely reunited with their parent.
Beth Powell Lead Musician
Beth has been at Belair for many years. She is our lead musician and plays the piano masterfully. She also sings and along with her husband Tim fills our lives with music. She is also a account specialist for a local hospital and serves as a member of our church finance team.
Stewart Morris Sound Technician
Stewart is dedicated to being in his place each and every Sunday even after attending many Georgia Bulldogs football games during football season on Saturdays in the fall. His wife
Elizabeth and their daughter Chloe help out with our children’s ministry. Stewart does a great job each and every Sunday making sure the sound for our main worship service as well as our live stream broadcast is the best that it can be.
Allen Cook Multimedia Specialist
Allen serves on our praise team as well as singing solo. In addition to this he operates our camera and live stream feed each week so that our services can be broadcast to our shut ins as well as our deployed service members and those that may not be able to attend. Allen does a great job with this ministry and always has a smile to share.
Chris Judd Sights & Sounds Specialist
Chris is our go to guy for all things tech. He takes the lead role each and every week in our multimedia presentations and also assists us with our computers. In addition to this his wife Jennifer assists in our children’s ministry. Chris is also a youth leader and he and Jennifer along with their four teen children are such a blessing to us here at Belair.
